Life & Stuff

Well.

This was unexpected.

Sorry for the unexplained break–had some good, some bad, and some Just Life.

I’ve just started classes again, and this time I’m in Boston all day Saturday; great for my working schedule, apparently horrid for blogging.

Then, on a much, MUCH happier note, my husband got a job.  A job that while requiring a longer commute, we’re SO, SO thankful for. It’s been 10 months in this economy, and we’ve definitely been sustained…but the amazing relief from knowing he’s got a job again is just amazing. And I think we’ve both learned a lot throughout it all–I didn’t REALLY want to blog about it in the midst of it, since really, who knows how it could have turned out? But now that we’re on the other side, I can not only think back on all the lessons we’ve learned, I can SEE it. He’s starting next week, and already we’ve fixed our budget, re-calibrated our debt-pay-off schedule, and are not only talking saving for a down payment, but are thinking–THINKING–about trying to pay cash for one. Or at least, put down a lot on it!

That, combined with some other issues and the exhaustion that came with it sort of not only kept me away from blogging, but also even from comments  & my email! So apologies for that as well. One thing I do want to point out is that while I’ll still be blogging Shaws, it’s going to shift to a “best of the week” format, since I don’t have the time to do the item-by-item match ups. Market Basket is my focus, and Hannaford & Stop and Shop are generally quick anyways, so hopefully that’ll work out whilst I slave away at homework!
